KENTA HAYASHI
Visionary Guitarist, Sound Alchemist & Master Looper
KENTA HAYASHI is a visionary Japanese guitarist, vocalist, Sound Alchemist, and Master Looper known for his unique One-Man Orchestra performance — transforming a single performer into a multidimensional live ensemble in real time.
Through guitar, voice, rhythm, live looping, finger drumming, effects, and carefully layered sound, KENTA creates fully live compositions without pre-produced backing tracks. His performances move fluidly between powerful rhythmic energy, hypnotic grooves, atmospheric textures, deep resonance, and spacious moments of immersion, creating a distinctive musical experience that transcends conventional genre boundaries.
At 18, KENTA moved alone to the United States, where he graduated from the prestigious Musicians’ Institute in Hollywood. He spent eight years developing his musical foundation in California before returning to Japan in 2011, where he began his solo career.
One-Man Orchestra — Music Created in the Moment
KENTA’s signature performance is an organic live-building process in which each layer is created in the moment. Guitar forms the central voice, joined by vocals, rhythm, finger drumming, effects, looping, and Japanese instrumentation to construct an entire sonic world from a single performer.
Rather than relying on pre-produced backing tracks, KENTA builds his arrangements live, allowing every performance to evolve organically in response to the space, the audience, and the moment.
The result is an immersive and highly dynamic experience that can move from intimate and meditative to deeply rhythmic, ecstatic, and expansive.
40 Countries — A Decade of International Touring
Since beginning his international touring career in 2015, KENTA has performed in 40 countries, establishing himself as an independent Japanese artist with a truly global touring history.
His international festival appearances include Glastonbury (UK), FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL (Japan), OZORA (Hungary), Wonderfruit (Thailand), Woodford Folk Festival (Australia), Boomtown (UK), Fusion (Germany), OzAsia Festival (Australia) and numerous other festivals, venues, and cultural events across Europe, Asia, Australia, North & South America, and beyond.
At FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, KENTA was selected by Rolling Stone Japan as one of its Top 5 recommended Japanese artists to watch, further highlighting his distinctive position within Japan’s independent music scene.
Sound Alchemy & Tachyon Music
Alongside his energetic live performance work, KENTA has developed a deeper dimension of his artistic practice through sound, resonance, frequency, and meditation.
In early 2020, during a European tour, KENTA and his instruments underwent a tachyonization process at New Energy Tachyon in Ljubljana, Slovenia. This experience became a turning point in his artistic journey and led to the development of his identity as a Tachyon Musician and Sound Alchemist.
His work now encompasses both powerful live looping performances and more spacious, contemplative sound experiences, including his 432Hz Tachyon Sound Healing Journey and guided meditation formats.
He has also released 432Hz healing music, Solfeggio frequency compositions, and the 432Hz Planet Series, exploring the relationship between sound, resonance, consciousness, and the human experience.

KENTA HAYASHIは、日本人ギタリスト、ボーカリスト、サウンド・アルケミスト、マスタールーパーとして、独自の「One-Man Orchestra（ワンマン・オーケストラ）」スタイルを確立する国際的なライブアーティストです。
ギターを中心に、ボイス、リズム、ライブルーピング、フィンガードラミング、エフェクト、日本の楽器などをリアルタイムで重ねながら、一人の演奏者から多次元的な音楽世界をその場で構築。あらかじめ制作されたバッキングトラックに依存することなく、すべての音をライブで紡ぎ出し、その瞬間、その空間、その観客とともに音楽を生み出していきます。
力強いリズムと高揚感に満ちたパフォーマンスから、催眠的なグルーヴ、繊細な音のテクスチャー、深い共鳴と静寂に至るまで、ジャンルという枠を越えた独自の音楽体験を創出しています。
18歳で単身渡米し、ハリウッドの名門Musicians’ Instituteを卒業。カリフォルニアを拠点に8年間音楽活動を展開し、2011年に日本へ帰国。その後、ソロアーティストとしての活動を本格的に開始しました。
One-Man Orchestra — その瞬間に生まれる音楽
KENTA HAYASHIの象徴的なパフォーマンスであるOne-Man Orchestraは、一人の演奏者がその場で音を積み重ね、ひとつの音楽世界を完成させていく、完全なライブ・ビルディング・プロセスです。
ギターを中心に、ボイス、リズム、フィンガードラミング、エフェクト、ループ、日本の楽器などをリアルタイムで組み合わせることで、単独の演奏でありながら、まるで複数のミュージシャンによるアンサンブルのような立体的なサウンドを生み出します。
あらかじめ用意されたバッキングトラックではなく、その場で一音一音を構築していくことで、同じ演奏は二度と生まれません。
空間、観客、そしてその瞬間のエネルギーに呼応しながら、親密で瞑想的な時間から、力強くリズミックでエクスタティックな高揚感、そして壮大で没入感のある音世界まで、自由に展開していきます。
40カ国 — 世界を巡る国際ツアー
2015年に始まった海外ツアー以降、KENTA HAYASHIは40カ国でパフォーマンスを行い、日本から世界へ活動を広げる独立系アーティストとして、長年にわたる国際的なツアーキャリアを築いてきました。
これまでに出演した主なフェスティバルには、**Glastonbury（イギリス）、FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL（日本）、OZORA（ハンガリー）、Wonderfruit（タイ）、Woodford Folk Festival（オーストラリア）、Boomtown（イギリス）、Fusion（ドイツ）、OzAsia Festival（オーストラリア）**などがあり、ヨーロッパ、アジア、オーストラリア、北米、南米をはじめ、世界各地のフェスティバル、会場、文化イベントで演奏を重ねています。
FUJI ROCK FESTIVALでは、Rolling Stone Japanにて「注目すべき日本人アーティスト5選」の一組として紹介され、その独自の音楽性とライブパフォーマンスが国内外で注目を集めました。
サウンド・アルケミー & タキオン・ミュージック
力強いライブパフォーマンスと並行して、KENTA HAYASHIは音、共鳴、周波数、瞑想を探求する、より深い芸術表現も展開しています。
2020年初頭、ヨーロッパツアー中にスロベニア・リュブリャナのNew Energy Tachyonにて、KENTA自身と楽器のタキオン化を経験。この出来事をひとつの転機として、Tachyon Musician（タキオン・ミュージシャン）、そして**Sound Alchemist（サウンド・アルケミスト）**としての活動を発展させていきました。
現在は、エネルギーとリズムに満ちたライブ・ルーピング・パフォーマンスに加え、より静かで深い没入体験を生み出す432Hz Tachyon Sound Healing Journeyや、ガイド付きメディテーションなどのサウンド・プログラムも展開しています。
また、432Hzヒーリング・ミュージック、ソルフェジオ周波数を用いた作品、432Hz Planet Seriesなどを発表し、音、共鳴、意識、人間の体験との関係を探求しています。
